Owners Terry and Peggy Hammer have created a venue dedicated to serve your special luxury needs. After researching bed and breakfast trends in the early 1990’Äôs they decided the only way to deliver consistent upscale amenities to guests was with new construction. Working with an architect with extensive European travel experience, they created a complex with state-of-the-art accommodations surrounded by a grape vineyard. One of the unique touches at the Inn is homemade heart-shaped cookies, ice cream, and Hermann Hill Port-Chocolate Raspberry sauce that innkeepers deliver nightly to each guest’Äôs door.

The success of the inn led the owners in 2006 to create a second Missouri River bluff location with luxury cottages and a wedding chapel, in a setting perfect for dramatic photography with breathtaking views. Offering great flexibility in a couple’Äôs ceremony, memorable weddings vary from traditional to dogs being ring bearers. Terry notes that the common comment from wedding guests is: ’ÄúI have been to a hundred weddings and have never been treated so well!’Äù

Onsite wedding planners guide the event smoothly and offer some great and unique ideas for the special day. For example, Hermann Hill has created a signature champagne wedding ceremony toast that includes everyone being served champagne or sparkling grape juice. Guests are awed at this moment of celebration, and it serves as a great transition to the wedding reception.
